GET ON THE RIGHT WAY
Equal Justice Ambassadors Menstrual Health & Dignity Outreach Programme – Nigeria
Equal Justice Ambassadors Volunteers conducted a menstrual health outreach programme in Nigerian schools aimed at supporting adolescent girls with access to essential sanitary products. The initiative focused on promoting dignity, health awareness, and equal educational opportunities for female students.
During the outreach, volunteers distributed sanitary towels and menstrual pads directly to female students, while also providing basic education on menstrual hygiene management. This intervention helps reduce school absenteeism caused by period poverty and empowers young girls to attend school with confidence and dignity.
The programme reflects Equal Justice Ambassadors’ commitment to gender equality, child welfare, and access to basic human rights. By addressing menstrual health challenges, the organisation continues to advocate for inclusive education and the protection of vulnerable girls in underserved communities.
